Immaculate, quirky and beautifully run.
This place is cared for so well. There wasn’t a spec of dust to be found on any surface and everything has a place and a purpose.
The room was perfectly presented in a welcoming and traditional way.
The attention to detail surpassed any hotel or B&B I’ve stayed in before. Even the coasters were lined up accurately on bedside tables.
Bed was comfy and we were toasty all night.
Shower had loads of pressure too so no complaints at all there 😊
Outside of the rooms the decor is full of wonderful, eccentric personality with sparks of subtle humour, personality and interest that blends with the traditional feel of the rooms.
The gardens appeared to be a celebration of our native and pre-Christian times in the UK with a lovely Wicca feel to them. Very quirky and warm with rugged slate and lumbar.
Great for us as our wedding was Dia De Los Muertos themed 😀
So much hard work has gone into those gardens and this entire place, plus, what a view!
Jackie and Iain were both lovely and they made sure that we were left without any questions or wants.
They even dried our soggy snowboarding things for us in their dying room 😀
Absolutely everything has been thought of and catered for here.
Jackie and Iain have researched every angle possible to create an experience as well as a lovely stay.
Breakfast – knockout. Quality ingredients and perfectly cooked.
Lastly… They have two of the most beautiful cats who are purrrfectly behaved and friendly.
For me, being a die hard cat person, I couldn’t have asked for anything more, other than adopting the cats on my way home 🤣
